From Elizabeth Dowd
Your strongest challenger to the Conservatives in New
Hall Ward
Elizabeth is a Sutton
resident and politics graduate, now working as a researcher for Labour’s Sion Simon MP. She has been backing Labour’s campaign for
a better recycling and rubbish collection system, and more cash for road and
pavement repairs.
Elizabeth said,
“Local residents are putting pride back in the area and making improvements. It’s
what ‘people power’ is all about - and I’m keen people get an even greater
say in their Council services”.
HELP CAMPAIGN TO CUT GOOD HOPE PARKING FEES!
Labour’s Sutton
Community Action Team is petitioning (below) to get the scandalously high car parking fees reduced at Good Hope Hospital.
Elizabeth and
Labour’s team believe the charges should be reduced. We also want a
‘discount’ scheme, to help people who visit most frequently, she said. “It’s
wrong that costs fall hardest on the people suffering most”!

We the
undersigned call on Good Hope Hospital to install a
fairer parking charges scheme Tick here q if you can help deliver
leaflets to support this campaign

Election special from your Sutton New Hall Labour Team
Save Walmley cricket ground!
Labour’s
local campaigners Elizabeth Dowd and Rob Pocock are stepping up the battle
against plans to sell off the Walmley Cricket
ground, after yet another blunder by the local MP.
Elizabeth Dowd has also been
working to get dodgy pavements improved on Eachelhurst Road, also in Minworth, the Oak and Ash estate, Thimble End and St Stevens
Road (see our petition below).
She and Rob have also been
busy campaigning to get the car park fees reduced at Good Hope Hospital.
Elizabeth has promised to
battle for more investment in Wylde Green and New
Hall. “The Conservatives took over the Council
4 years ago promising more
cash, but this has proved to be a real sham” she said.

YES I’d like to help Elizabeth and
Rob’s ‘Better Roads’ campaign
